After Sales Service

We provide a full after sales service and repair facility for owners of W Greener and W W Greener guns. This includes stripping and cleaning guns after a season in the field, general repairs, making and fitting any new parts which may be necessary over the lifetime of a gun to ensure it functions correctly and reliably. Rebarrelling, restocking and renovation work, to restore guns to almost as new condition as is possible, is also undertaken by our skilled gunmakers, to the very highest standards. The conversion of non-ejector guns to ejectors may also be possible for some models. However, the cost of modifications and extensive repairs can be VERY expensive and would normally only be undertaken if a gun is of sufficient value to warrant the cost, or if a gun is of sentimental value such as one which has been passed down from generation to generation.

Quotations to have any work undertaken can only be provided once we have had the opportunity to inspect a gun at our works. Anyone wishing to have a gun repaired or restored is invited to send the gun to our workshops at: W W Greener, The mews, Hagley Hall, Hagley, DY9 9LG, England. Please ensure your gun is adequately insured before sending it to us and note that shipping a gun to and from the UK can also be costly. Alternatively customers can contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail and we will try to answer any questions. Please note that many guns made before 1925 are proved for black powder cartridges only. We offer to inspect these guns and advise on their suitability for re-proof for nitro loads.
